Principi:
Svrha radionice je da stvori originalno delo pod nazivom “The Narcissist” (“Narcis”) kroz dramu koja nastaje iz specifičnosti kontrolisanog sukoba dve suprotstavljene sile.Radionica i završna predstava će se, kroz glumačku saradnju, baviti istraživanjem simbola samoljublja i velikodušne ljubavi, kao izvora drame.
Principles:
The purpose of the workshop is to develop an original piece titled “The Narcissist” by manufacturing drama through controlled specificity of the conflict between two opposite forces.
Both the final piece and the workshop will explore the titans of self-love and generous love as a source of drama by in an acting partnership.
Sadržaj:
Tiffany Joy Ross will lead actors through a series of exercises inspired by various techniques: Meisner, Stanislavsky, Strasberg, Williamson and others that impart emotional specificity. Ross will also use her own experience as a professional performer, traveler and director to craft the
actors work inside of short improvisations that will attempt to build a full story for each partnership.
Ross will divide the group into partnerships and small groups. Each partnership will be asked to practice an exercise with each other while a small group changes the space around them. The idea is that while we hone in on ourselves the world around us is changing, without our
knowledge the faceless are dictating the action.
Tifani Džoj Ros će voditi glumce kroz niz vežbi inspirisanih različitim tehnikama:
Majsnerovom, Stanislavskog, Strazbergovom, Vilijamsonovom i drugim koje se bave emocionalnom specifičnošću. Ros će takođe koristiti sopstveno iskustvo profesionalnog glumca i reditelja kako bi usmerila rad glumaca koji će, kroz kratke improvizacije, pokušati da izgrade zaokruženu priču za svaki par.
Grupa će biti podeljena u parove i manje grupe. Od svakog para će se tražiti da izvede vežbu dok manja grupa glumaca menja prostor oko njih. Namera je da se prikaže kako se, dok se fokusiramo sami na sebe, svet oko nas menja. Bez našeg znanja, “Bezlični” upravljaju događajima.

Cilj I očekivani rezultat:
Ovaj projekat nije samo glumačka radionica, već i istraživanje fenomena “kratkog pamćenja” u modernom društvu i opsesije samim sobom, kao načina da se izborimo sa navalom informacija kojoj smo izloženi. S jedne strane glumac, mikrokosmos koji simbolizuje univerzalno, se okreće sebi u pokušaju da dostigne savršenstvo i učini sebe “najboljim glumcem”, dok se sa druge strane glumac okreće od sebe pokušavajući da se u potpunosti posveti svom partneru. Ovaj veoma ljudski konflikt stvara dramu koja pokreće priču kako na modernoj pozornici, tako i van nje. Čak i kada se moderna osoba okrene sebi, kako bi izbegla uplitanje u spoljni svet, potreba za posvećivanjem čovečanstvu i dalje postoji. Završna predstava će izraziti frustraciju stvorenu ovim “povlačenjem konopca” i pokušaće da pronađe balans.
Purpose and results:This is not only an actor’s workshop, but an investigation into modern society’s short attention span and our obsession with self as a means to cope with the onslaught of information accosting us from outside. On the one hand the performer, who acts as a microcosm of the universal, is turned inward in an attempt to perfect the moment so as to make him or herself “the best actor” while on the other hand the actor is pulled outward in an effort to give him or herself fully to their partner. This very human conflict creates the drama that drives the story, on and off the modern stage. Even when the modern individual turns inward to avoid involvement in the world at large, there is still a need to give oneself back to humanity. The final piece will express the frustration created by this tug-a-war and try to find balance within it.

Kratka biografija vođe radionice:
Tifani Džoj Ros (a.k.a. Konstans A. Dan) je glumica, pisac, reditelj i profesor iz Sjedinjenih Američkih Država. Po završetku studija na Univerzitetu Severnog Ilinoisa, preselila se u Čikago. Jedan je od osnivača “Bruised Orange Theater Company” gde je provela dve godine kao generalni direktor. Počasni je član nagrađivanog “Trapdoor” teatra gde je bila član ansambla. Tokom sedam godina je sarađivala sa poznatim pozorišnim kompanijama u Čikagu. Na međunarodnom nivou, nastupala je na Internacionalnom festivalu pozorišta u Sibnju, Andergraund festivalu u Aradu, Nacionalnom pozorištu u Bukureštu i “Secret Life” teatru u Londonu. Njen rad na filmu uključuje saradnju sa poznatom umetnicom Ketrin Saliven i nagrađivanim “Cooked Goose” studiom. Neki od njenih originalnih performansa su prikazani u A+B galeriji u Čikagu, kao i na ulicama Čikaga sa “Bruised Orange” teatrom. Njen glumački rad je dobio pohvale kritike od strane Čikago tribjuna, Čikago fri presa, Čikago ridera, Tajmaut Čikaga, San tajmsa, Nju sitija i drugih časopisa. Samostalno je producirala dela
Dejvida Hopštajna i drugih manje poznatih umetnika.
Ros je konstantno u potrazi za andergraund umetnicima. Kao protivnik institucijalizovanog i korporativnog pozorišta, ona želi da osnaži individualnog umetnika i ohrabri potragu za istinom kroz umetnost, bez obzira koliko uznemirujuće to može biti.

Tiffany Joy Ross, a.k.a Constance A. Dunn, is a performer, writer, director and teacher from the United States. After completing her bachelor of fine arts in performance at Northern Illinois University she moved to Chicago. She is a founding member of Bruised Orange Theater Company where she spent two years as a managing director, an honorary member of the award-winning Trapdoor Theatre where she was a ensemble member and her performance credits include seven years worth of work with notable theatre companies in Chicago. She has performed internationally at the Sibiu International Theatre Festival in Sibiu Romania, the Arad Underground Festival, the National Theatre in Bucharest and Secret Life Theatre in London, England. Film credits include work with renowned performance artist Catherine Sullivan and
the award-winning Cooked Goose Productions. Some of her original performances were staged at A+B Gallery in Chicago, on the streets of Chicago, with Bruised Orange among others. Her work as a performer has been critically acclaimed by the Chicago Tribune, Chicago Free Press, The Chicago Reader, TimeOut Chicago, the SunTimes, New City and others. She has also individually produced the work of David Hauptschein and other fringe artists.
Ross has consistently sought out the outsider and underground artists. Never a fan of institutionalised, or corporation, theatre, she seeks to empower individual artists and encourage the pursuit of truth through performance, no matter how unsettling it may be.
